Ulta Beauty had built strong equity in beauty and lifestyle spaces but had limited presence within sports and broader cultural conversations. The Super Bowl presented an opportunity for the brand to show up within the largest sporting event in the U.S. and participate in a cultural moment that extends far beyond the game itself. The challenge was to create an authentic presence that connected beauty, entertainment, and sports audiences while driving social engagement and cultural relevance.
The Approach
Developed the strategic case for Ulta Beauty’s presence around the Super Bowl and led partnership development, creator strategy, social activation, and content planning. In partnership with Gallery Media Group, created a pre-game creator event designed to generate social-first content and cultural momentum ahead of the Super Bowl. Designed a social-first approach that connected beauty and sports audiences through creator content, extending the brand's presence beyond game day.
